About This Event

Perfect for young gamers who are curious about what goes on behind the screen, this hands-on workshop turns Minecraft into a playground for learning to code. Working in the game world they already love, children write code to command their own digital 'Agent', automate builds and solve a series of engaging puzzles — a natural, low-pressure way into computer science, with no previous coding experience needed. Along the way, participants pick up core programming and problem-solving concepts, discovering how logical, step-by-step thinking makes things happen in the game. Aimed at eight- to twelve-year-olds, it is designed to be as much fun as it is educational; places are ticketed and best booked in advance, and children aged ten and under should be accompanied by an adult.
