About This Event

The museum's drop-in Open Studio craft session (11.30am to 3pm in the learning room) is Flights of Fancy, making a winged, feathery bird from craft materials, inspired by Pierre Mignard's The Marquise de Seignelay (1691), on loan through the National Gallery Masterpiece Tour. Families are welcome and no booking is needed. Earlier in the morning there is a free 30-minute qigong class at 9.30am and a free Slow Looking session at 10.20am, a guided, mindful look at the painting followed by sensory activities. Both are limited to ten people and must be booked in advance.
