Sea Change Café Reopens with a New Menu on 4 July

Sea Change Café on Ocean Road is reopening to the public on Friday 4 July following a short refurbishment, and it is launching a brand-new menu to mark the occasion.

A quick refresh

The café closed on Monday 30 June for the work, which has given the space a fresh lick of paint, a new panelled feature wall, and a rethink of the back area, where the old sofa has been removed to make room for something new. It is a tidy update rather than a major overhaul, so regulars will still recognise the place when the doors open again.

Sea Change is a social enterprise café and arts venue run by the North East Autism Society, providing training and employment opportunities while serving good coffee, homemade food, and a regularly changing programme of exhibitions.

Reopening weekend treats

There is plenty on to celebrate the relaunch. Every customer gets a free barista coffee on Friday 4 July, there is 10% off food all weekend from Friday to Sunday, and local band The Pine Barrens play a free live gig on the Friday evening.
