About Christmas Trees North East (Wheathall Farm)
Christmas Trees North East sells real Christmas trees each December from Wheathall Farm in Whitburn, on the coast road between South Shields and Sunderland. The range is Nordmann fir and Scotch pine, from around 4ft up to very large trees of 17ft and more, and every tree is netted for the journey home. Tree stands are sold on site.
In the 2025 season the yard opened daily from late November, 9am to 6pm, with evening delivery available for a small charge locally and card, cash and PayPal accepted. Dates for each new season are posted on the website, so check before setting off.
