About Farplace Animal Rescue
Farplace Animal Rescue's South Shields shop occupies a large unit on Victoria Road in the former Carpetright store, making it one of the town's biggest charity shops. It sells a wide range of donated goods including furniture, clothing, electricals, giftware, toys, books and bric-a-brac, and has its own car park for both donation drop-offs and customers. The shop is dog-friendly and welcomes donations and volunteers. All proceeds fund Farplace Animal Rescue, a no-kill charity whose shelter in Weardale takes in, cares for and rehomes rescued, sick and injured animals. It opens Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm.
