About First Class Learning South Shields

First Class Learning South Shields is part of a national tuition franchise, providing individually tailored maths, English and science tuition for children and students of all ages, both in person and online. Sessions run from Talbot Road Methodist Church Hall, using personalised worksheet-based programmes aligned to the National Curriculum with a little-and-often approach, including short daily homework so pupils build confidence and fluency over time. The centre supports SATs, 11-plus and GCSE preparation, and is Ofsted registered. It is led by centre manager Emma Orton, a qualified teacher with more than 20 years' experience in education. Classes run on Tuesdays, Thursdays online and Saturday mornings.
