About Cream Curls

Cream Curls opened its flagship on Ocean Road in South Shields in 2018 and specialises in rolled ice cream, made to order on a freezing plate rather than scooped from a cabinet. The menu also includes waffles, crepes, cookie dough, churros and milkshakes.

The Ocean Road premises also operate as a smash burger kitchen, and much of the business today is takeaway and delivery through the main apps. It is a popular choice for loaded desserts rather than a traditional cone.
