About South Tyneside College
South Tyneside College is a further education college based at its Westoe campus on St George's Avenue in South Shields, and part of the Tyne Coast College group, which also includes Tyne Metropolitan College and South Shields Marine School. It offers full- and part-time courses for school leavers and adults, spanning vocational courses, T Levels, apprenticeships, higher education programmes, distance learning and foundation learning. Specialist maritime and merchant navy training is delivered through the group's South Shields Marine School. The college provides a wide range of academic and technical qualifications.
