About The Robin
The Robin, formerly the Robin Hood, is a restored coaching inn on Roman Road in Jarrow, a landmark building dating back to 1824. It is best known as the original home of the Jarrow Brewing Company, which was established here before brewing later moved on. The pub has since been fully refurbished and reopened under new ownership, with the interior completely overhauled. It now places a strong emphasis on fresh, home-cooked food from its kitchen alongside a rotating range of cask ales, lagers and ciders on draught, continuing its long tradition as a local for the area.
