Toney Minchella is a South Shields family ice cream business, making ice cream since 1935 and part of the town's long Italian ice cream tradition. It runs seafront kiosks and cafes at South Marine Park on Beach Road, the South Promenade car park on Sea Road (NE33 3NF) and a grill bar at Haven Point on River Drive (NE33 2TJ), plus a site at Whitburn Bents.

The counters serve soft ice cream in flavours such as mint choc chip, strawberry, pistachio, limoncello and Turkish delight, alongside cafe food, hot drinks and, at Haven Point, grill bar meals. The South Marine Park kiosk is a natural stop for families visiting the park and play area.
