The Chichester Arms is a traditional corner pub at 1 Chichester Road in Westoe, South Shields, close to Chichester Metro station. It has two rooms, a bar and a quieter lounge, and a small garden that is home to pet rabbits. The pub serves meals and a range of drinks in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, and shows live football and other sport on screens. It hosts regular live entertainment, including a Tuesday night music session known as Tunesday, an open-mic style event welcoming musicians of all genres and abilities. It remains a popular community local within the Westoe conservation area.
