About Jarrow Hall
Jarrow Hall is an Anglo-Saxon farm, village and museum in Jarrow, celebrating the heritage of the Venerable Bede and the wider Anglo-Saxon world of the North East. The site brings together a reconstructed Anglo-Saxon settlement, a living-history farm with rare-breed animals, and the Bede Museum, which explores the life and scholarship of Bede. An Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation, it delivers educational and cultural programming for schools from primary through to higher education, along with family activities, volunteer opportunities and events through the year. On-site amenities include a cafe and herb garden, and general admission functions as an annual pass giving twelve months of access.
