About This Event
The Great North Feast in the Park returns to Bents Park over the summer bank holiday weekend, running Saturday 29 to Monday 31 August. Set in the seafront park between Ocean Beach and the marine park, the festival gathers around 30-40 of the North East's favourite street-food traders in giant tents and stretch marquees, alongside bars serving craft beer and cocktails. There is live music and entertainment across the weekend plus small children's rides, making it an easy free day out for families. Entry is free with no ticket needed — just turn up and eat your way around the stalls.
