About This Event
The Word, South Shields' striking National Centre for the Written Word, runs free drop-in music-themed arts and crafts through the summer holidays. Aimed at ages 5 and up, it is an easy, no-booking way to fill an hour or two. The building itself is worth the visit, with its spiral of shelves, FabLab and views over the Market Place — plenty to explore once the crafting is done.
